The product is really good. It takes the place of a cover and protects it from the sun. It also helps to block the sun from the screen really good. I tried running with mine still up and they done very good. It doesn't take but a second to take it down. I'm going to get two more for the dashboard units.

I have a 9-inch Lowrance mounted on the dash of my Tracker V18.  I have tried four other devices to shade the fishfinder and reduce the glare on the screen.  I’ve tried generic shades, and several hard plastic ones that supposedly were designed specifically for my Lowrance unit.  None fit properly.  The problem is they don’t seem to consider the mounting thumbscrews on the side of the unit.  I thought I would try the RipaLip cover and it works perfectly.  The elastic straps easily work around the screws.  I also like the fold-down feature, making it easy to drop it in my waterproof storage box between fishing trips.

I wasn't impressed initially .. light weight and came in a small flat package . I didn't use it cause it was going back . But gave it a chance and decided to keep it . It stayed secure at 60 mph and the fold down is cool ..
Worth the money..after the shock factor.

Makes seeing my screen so much easier. 

Bought 2 of these covers.  One for a Helix 7 and for a Helix 9.  The material is good, quality is good.  However the strap around the unit flexes too much to make a secure grip on the display.  It wants to pull backwards all the time.  If you try to tighten it up to get a secure wrap, the position of the back strap is out of position.  For the price, I could not recommend this product.

Awesome product

Although I had a cover for my Garmin, this sunshade works great, so good I got another for my Helix and my console, and thee shipping was pretty quick. Many times I've had to cover the screen with my hand to see and now the Sunshade does the job and when your done it serves as a cover protector.

The sun shade is a great product. It can be removed easily for transport, installed quickly and easily when needed and helps a lot when dealing with reflections off the screen. 
Dave was very responsive and helpful ensuring I got the correct model for my touchscreen unit. 

Flexible, versatile, works just as described.
Best is it is not permanent.

It will help with the glare of the sun when fishing!
