Definitely 💯 better than I just looking at the cover on line. In use and handing this cover it’s well built and covers both the head unit, rubber screen protector and whole gimbal. So feel like only thing for more protection would be to just remove the head unit from the boat. Which I do if leaving the boat quickly removing the gimbal head unit stays in place. Discount three wires and set the controller in the Ripalip head unit bag. Have two controllers all fit perfectly in the bag with room to spare. Awesome covers and control head bag.

ordered to 15 to 16" model to cover a 12" garmin with every port in the back used and a extra big mount and the larger cover worked perfectly!
