    • Fits and reduces screen glare on my Humminbird Solix 10
      I installed the RipALip 10" sunshade on my Humminbird Solix 10 and went to the lake yesterday on a sunny day. This sunshade reduced the amount of glare on the screen, and I could see the screen better with it installed. I have not tried it in the rain yet but if it helps keep some of the rain off the screen that would be a plus as well.

    • Good fit so far!
      As per the instructions refer you to. I ordered the 10" to fit the Helix 9 nice snug fit with the adjustable straps.
      The one thing I never considered when ordering it was I can run the screen brightness down which extends battery life and also allows me to select different color pallets in different conditions to see things easier.
      It has really been beneficial while viewing the Mega 360 in picking up changes in bottom content also.

    • Screen not washed out, Sun Shade Works
      I have both a Humminbird Helix 8 and 9 with back lighting turned up high.  When out on the water with the sun beating down on the fishing graph the SI and DI would be washed out.  Using the RiPALIB Sun Shade, it does the intended purpose of being able to see the screen display from the type of display you so choose.  The sun shade also will act as a screen protectorwhen front and sides are folded down.

      Having difficulty with keeping the top of the shade from falling backwards and thus exposing the screen to sunlight Would have helped having a piece of Velcro that attached to the top screen surface to adhere to the Velcro tab that is already present
